My second series of cups. As I continued to pracice repetition I decided to explore a different material. A deep, dark bodied clay that was wonderful to throw with. It was much harder to attach the handles because this clay had less grogg. I love the the contrast between dark-bodied clay and the pure, smooth white texture of porcelain slip brushed on the sides.
